Abstract

In everyday life, interpersonal communication will always happen no exception in the campus environment. Interpersonal communication skills among students is beragam.Seperti case in Tegal UPS campus environment, based on our observations of the student FKIP UPS Tegal particularly Prodi Guidance and Counseling. Students who have good interpersonal communication have an indication as easy to get along, actively organize, many friends, sensitive to the environment, dll.Tujuan of this study was to determine: 1) the real condition of interpersonal communication between students before the implementation of outbound group counseling techniques, 2) for interpersonal communication students after the implementation of the Guidance Group Outbound Techniques ?, 3) to Know apakalah Outbound Engineering Group Guidance models can improve inter-personal communication Mahasiswa.Metode this study is accordance with the problems and research objectives, this research using this type of research and development or research and Development (R & D), which is a type of research that is used to produce a particular product, and test the effectiveness of these products (Borg & Gall in Sugiyono 2010: 407-409) the results was that the study of interpersonal communication students before administration of group counseling services den gan outbound engineering student interpersonal communication before the given group counseling service with outbound techniques, producing interval 103-108, as many as 12 students with a percentage of 40% were classified in the low criteria interpersonal communication students after the administration of guidance services research group with outbound techniques produce interval 121-126, as many as 15 students with a percentage of 50% belonging to the high criteria. Based on the analysis with statistical calculations using t-test is obtained t = 4.763 with 1% significance level and degrees of freedom N-1 = 30-1 = 29, then gained the table = 2.756. It can be concluded that the Model Guidance Outbound Engineering Group can improve interpersonal communication students Prodi BK FKIP UPS Tegal.Kesimpulan that guidance services group, has an important role in developing the ability to interact or communicate as well as to improve communication between students

Abstract

Scientific publications in this case are compiling research actions on guidance and counseling and publishing the results of research into journals. The problem in this study is that the guidance and counseling teachers at Pekalongan District Secondary School experienced a decline in performance in preparing research studies on guidance and counseling as well as publishing articles in journals. The purpose of the research is to find out what factors influence the performance of teacher guidance and counseling in scientific publications. This research method uses qualitative research. The data collection method uses interviews and document studies. The results of the study are factors that influence the performance of teacher guidance and counseling in scientific publications including leadership, motivation, competence, and training. Previously, the training in arranging guidance and counseling action research and article publication had been carried out several times and was proven to be able to improve the professional competence of teacher guidance and counseling. This was accomplished, one of which was the support of leadership factors from the central policy, elements of the education agency, principals and organizations as well as teacher motivation. However, when the support of the leadership factor and the teacher's motivation factor decreased, the competence and training in arranging research and counseling actions as well as the publication of articles became decreased so that the teacher's guidance and counseling performance became low.

Abstract

In order to optimize the role and function of Teacher Guidance and Counseling in schools, it is necessary to socialize the understanding and understanding of several policies that contain the role and function of the Guidance and Counseling / Counselor Teachers to the school components and abort the assumption that the Guidance and Counseling teachers only help to solve the problematic counselees and also some Guidance and Counseling Teachers / Counselors who have not understand abouth her/his the role and function. In order to optimize the role and function of Guidance and Counseling / Counselor Teachers; there are several things that must be done such as;  1. to enrichment the role; 2. have to show the professionalism well; 3. help the students to choose and to establish the ?interest and idea?mprefessionally; 4. having a high commitment in effort to improve their qualifications and abilities to achieve the specified professional standards.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangan model instruksional, yaitu video simulasi konseling yang menampilkan pelaksanaan model konseling karier person-environment fit. Model instruksional ditujukan untuk mahasiswa S-1 program studi bimbingan konseling, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Model instruksional dikembangkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya pengetahuan mahasiswa terkait konseling karier. Hasil analisis asesmen kebutuhan menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa belum menguasai pemecahan masalah karier, menganalisis metode/teknik yang digunakan dalam konseling karier, serta menelaah sumber informasi karier. Sehingga, konten yang dikembangkan dalam model instruksional terdiri dari kasus konseling karier, tahapan model konseling karier person-environment fit dengan sumber infomasi karier, dan kesimpulan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan Interactive Video (IVD) yang diungkapkan oleh Bergman dan Moore (1990). Pengembangan Interactive Video (IVD) terdiri dari tujuh tahap, yaitu (1) analisis, (2) desain, (3) pengembangan, (4) produksi, (5) pengarangan, dan (6) validasi. Pengujian model instruksional melibatkan ahli materi, ahli media, dan pengguna. Berdasasarkan hasil pengujian maka model instruksional dianggap mudah dipelajari, efisien digunakan, mudah diingat, sedikit kesalahan, memuaskan, serta sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini membahas data pilot dan rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Homeschooling practices still generate a variety of contrasting responses to their relevance and effectiveness. This study aims to map the relationship patterns of homeschooling students with the development of self potential that has been through the analysis phase. The analysis conducted focuses on mapping relationships: a) research arrangements; b) target sample; c) methods and instruments used; d) general focus or issues discussed; and e) patterns in findings from student development. It was found that this study focused more on evaluating the effectiveness and relevance of homeschooling as an alternative to traditional schools, especially in the field of effective learning experiences and developments in the social media world. Apart from the advantages of homeschooling practice, this article also finds harmony from the importance of guidance and counseling conducted by the teacher in improving students' self-potential. So that this research provides recommendations for further effective homeschooling practices

Abstract

The purpose of this study are: (1) to determine the effectiveness of group counseling and reduce anxiety students face the test, (2) to determine the effectiveness of group counseling models with relaxation techniques to reduce students' anxiety in facing the exam. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental research design , using the initial test design (pretest) and the final treatment (posttest). This research involved PGRI 1 Palembang junior high school students. The steps taken are: (1) preparation of the experimental group, (2) giving the pretest in the experimental group (3) giving tretment or treatment to the experimental group (4) giving post test in the experimental group, (5) the final effectiveness of group counseling with relaxation techniques assisted by instrumental music to reduce the anxiety of students facing exams. The analysis was carried out using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the field test, the level of anxiety students face the test has decreased after participating in group counseling activities with relaxation techniques. Shown by changes in the level of anxiety of students facing the pre-test (initial evaluation) and post-test (final evaluation) that is equal to 84% (pre) to 45% (post). Wilcoxon test results obtained Asymp.sig. (2-tailed) of 0.008 with a significant 5% (<0.05) so that it can be concluded that group counseling services with relaxation techniques assisted by instrumental music are effective to reduce students' anxiety in facing the exam keywords: group counseling. Abstract

The aim of study to obtain information by describing career planning through the relationship test MI (Multiple Intellegence) and test SDS (Dominance, Inducement, Submissive, Compliance) as the needs of students in choosing career planning. This research approach use descriptive qualitative. Data obtained are the results of the MI and SDS test students VII semester guidance and counseling program. The object of research is the relationship between MI and SD test results. Knowledge of a career requires students who are in the seventh semester in order to get a decent job in accordance with their competence. By knowing the results of MI test and test of SDS expected student can determine career decision as plan early from career development. The population studied is a VII semester student guidance and counseling program with. Results obtained from charging kuisoner distribution is a significant relationship relationship between MI and SDS test results based on the suitability of job choice.

Abstract
